Faversham Stoa is a philosophy discussion group meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 7.30 to 9.30pm in the The Bull in Tanners Street. We cover a large range of topics. This discussion is based on a book by Stuart Sutherland entitled Irrationality and we will be looking at some of the topics he covers: jumping to conclusions, ignoring evidence, misjudging risk and the ways in which we all make mistakes in our reasoning in everyday life. It's a good read.
